The fact that your selfishness is so deep as to feel burdened by a gift that all of your friends love and cherish (even the bitter ones, yes), angers me incredibly.

If clicking a button is so hard, how do you spend so much time at the computer?

If you care for us so much, why don't you ever try to get in contact with us?

It was time zones for me. But what was it for everyone else?

Selfishness.

We have to come to you. On your time.

I lost patience this summer. No more your time. You deal with the world now.

What band are you dying to see live in concert that you've never seen before? Would you travel to a different city or state just to see them?

I have plans to travel to the UK just to see McFly. They may not be solid plans, but I have loved this band for far too long to not even try.

Imagine you manage a coven of baseball-playing vampires. The Cullen family is really strong this year and you want to bring in a ringer. Which currently active MLB baseball player do you sire?

I'm sorry, I'm just putting this one in my journal so I never have to forget its hilarity.

I'm writing a lulz-worthy fanfic round-robin with my friend Karen and a piece of serious short fiction to share with Meg by Friday. Excited? Yes. Do I have any idea what the serious piece is going to be? Nope. BUT WE CAN DO IT!

I've decided to write some sort of literary piece. I don't know whether it'll be a novel, some sort of piece of short fiction, or whether it'll end up being the tale of my founder sim's life, but I'm really looking forward to writing something. I need to do more of that.

"Every brief meeting is an exchange of veiled perplexity.

She pines for his eyes on hers, a laugh, any gesture that

signifies her significance in his and the world. "

There is another sky,
Ever serene and fair,
And there is another sunshine,
Though it be darkness there;
Never mind faded forests, Austin,
Never mind silent fields -
Here is a little forest,
Whose leaf is ever green;
Here is a brighter garden,
Where not a frost has been;
In its unfading flowers
I hear the bright bee hum:
Prithee, my brother,
Into my garden come!

"There is another sky" by Emily Dickinson

I know this poem is about death and Heaven, but there's something so uplifting about it regardless. Not that there is a place to go after I die, because I don't entirely believe that, but that there will always be another way to do achieve something - there is no one way. I've been thinking of and reminded of the future a lot in the past few days, and so much grief is floating in the air. I can't afford to let myself down again - I can't afford to convince myself that the happy way wasn't right for me again. I'll just have to find a better way, and I fully intend to.

I would like to link all of you to this:

150 Things You are Not Allowed to do at Hogwarts

This includes the original fantastic 50 and some other hilarious ones.

Highlights:
141. I will not scare the Arithmancy students with my Calculus book.
130. It is not necessary for me to yell “BAMF!” every time I Apparate.
97. I will not claim there is a prequel to Hogwarts: A History that explains about Bilbo Baggins.

My personal favorite isn't on this list:
The Easter Bunny is not Jesus' animagus.

Do you think animals have a sense of humor?

Uh, yeah. They have great comedic timing. Like when a squirrel runs past your horse and it spooks a comedic moment later. You know that the horse did it on purpose. You just know.

Things that make sense when waking up:

There is a difference between 8, 9, and 10 bit waking up.
9 bit was this morning. That means my eye can't hurt - that's 10 bit.
8 is just fibers, 9 is the level of hair, and 10 is just intense.

8 bit is far preferable to 9.
